Mikhail Sergachev Injured During Mammoth’s Win Over New Jersey

In a recent NHL game, Utah Mammoth defenseman Mikhail Sergachev had to leave the ice after being hit by a puck. During the match against New Jersey, Sergachev was struck on the back of the helmet by a puck from a clearing attempt by his teammate MacKenzie Weegar. The incident happened with just 29 seconds remaining in the second period, prompting Sergachev to head directly to the locker room.
Following the accident, the Mammoth announced that Sergachev would be out for the remainder of the game with an upper-body injury. Utah’s coach, Andre Tourigny, reported after the game that there was no update on Sergachev’s condition. Before exiting the game, Sergachev had contributed significantly, recording three assists and achieving his 300th career assist, reaching this milestone in his 634th NHL game.
