Jeremiyah Love Ruled Out for Cardinals’ October Game Against Rams

Arizona Cardinals rookie running back Jeremiyah Love did not play in the October game against the Los Angeles Rams due to an ankle injury, coach Mike LaFleur confirmed. Love missed practice sessions that week and did not participate in Friday’s game due to the injury that was first noticeably aggravated during a previous loss to the New York Giants. LaFleur expressed that playing Love would not be in his best interest, emphasizing the necessity of getting his ankle properly healed.

LaFleur revealed that the decision to keep Love out of the game was made early in the week, as the player’s ability to perform was hampered. Known for his sharp cuts and intense playing style, Love’s injury made it difficult for him to execute effectively on the field. “He cuts hard,” LaFleur said, highlighting how the injury impacts Love’s crucial ability to anchor and maneuver. With an eye on long-term health and performance, the focus remains on comprehensive recovery.
