Marvin Harrison Jr Traded from Cardinals to Texans

Marvin Harrison Jr., after struggling with the Arizona Cardinals, is now a member of the Houston Texans following a trade. Harrison, selected fourth overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, cleaned out his locker at the Cardinals’ facility shortly after learning he would be leaving the team. His former coach with the Cardinals, Mike LaFleur, disclosed the news to the team during a full team meeting, causing a surprise as Harrison was not present. The trade details were confirmed by the Texans after their win over the Tennessee Titans earlier in October.

Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans and general manager Nick Caserio announced the conclusion of the deal, which sends Harrison to Texas in exchange for future draft picks. Harrison made his debut for the Texans soon after the trade, reuniting with his college quarterback C.J. Stroud. In his first game for Houston, Harrison caught three passes in a victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. His arrival in Houston marks a fresh start, with hopes high that his new environment will reignite his potential.
